I'm Baaaaaack, a small post to get back into the swing of things.

HEY GUYS :D

Sorry, I seem to have fallen off the blogging band wagon and have only just jumped back on, i've been crazy busy with work and exciting things have been happening and taking priority so blogging took to the back burner and now i'm going to pick up where I left off. - I also apologise for the format of this post isn't great and i'm going to sort it out to look like the others, unless it's preferred as is.

I'm just going to do a smallish post about a couple of my favourite TV shows, it's going to be a quick and brief one and nothing too interesting but an insight into what shows I like and how much I enjoy certain ones. I’m one of those people who doesn’t sit down to watch TV of an evening. I have searched through Netflix constantly countless times even if nothing pops out on the screen or heard people ranting and raving about.

My taste on shows varies a lot from Breaking bad to Vikings, to Geordie Shore - yes I absolutely love that show, it’s brilliant. I’m a sucker for “reality” shows like Geordie Shore, Made in Chelsea, Housewives of …. every single city in America, KUWTK, you name them i’ve watched them.

I’ve left Vikings alone for the past couple months and I definitely need to dive back into it and get back on track seeing as Season 4 is/was currently being aired on TV, it's an incredible show, there's no major budget and maybe 3 other people I know watch it as it's not rubbed into everyones faces with advertising. It's on I'd seen in the shops and wanted to watch it so picking up the first season was brilliant, it's back in the times when the Vikings invaded Britain. Extremely good actors who are perfect for their parts.

The two i’m currently sucked into are The Walking Dead (Season 6) and Dexter. TWD i’ve been a fan of since it appeared on our screens, I’ve been sucked into it completely, I’m even a collector of the comics which I must say are absolutely amazing also. I’m a fan of gore and mess and anything with a zombie in it, I will be glued to my mac or my TV watching it. I’m three episodes behind currently so i’ve been avoiding spoilers of the finale like the plague. I didn't think i'd make it this far through The Walking Dead as one of the seasons (I can't remember which one) got crazy boring but after (finding Alexandria) it definitely picked up again and has improved majorly, so i'm looking forward to a certain character appearing in the Season Finale of Season 6 as I've known of this character for yonks.

Now onto Dexter, I’m mid way through Season 3, and again absolutely loving it. Anything with the main focus on one character who has two sides to their personality is a bonus, also with blood guts and anything gory. Each season has it’s own story and there’s always good bombshells within that leave you not knowing what to do next and want to play the next episode however early in the AM it is. Netflix is bad for us binge watchers.

Other shows I’ve watched and would easily what everyday for the rest of eternity is, Sons of Anarchy, YES YES YES YES. Hands down my favourite TV show ever. If you’re into motorbikes, crews, bad guys/good guys all the territorial stuff then this show is the one for you, I’m an extremely critical person of TV shows and films so when I say something is good it’s way up there in the clouds.
Breaking bad, if you haven’t watched it yet.. WHY NOT. Another show that you never want to end. Need I say more, once you start it, you don’t want to stop watching it.

I don’t want to drag this post out even more that I already have as I haven’t been active on my blog for absolutely ages so just warming all this up again.
I’ll leave a few others shows I recommend watching that i’ve watched down below this and let me know in the comments of shows you’ve watched that you would recommend to me and if you like any of the shows I've mentioned.

  • Friends
  • Game of Thrones
  • Orphan Black
  • Prison Break
  • Orange is the New Black
  • Skins
  • 90210
  • American Horror Story
  • Homeland
  • Blue Mountain State
  • Pretty Little Liars

Thanks for reading and I hope I won’t disappear for months again and I apologise for how boring this post looks. Keep binge watching guys. Shall see you in the next post.

                                                          Much Love and enjoy :)

Seche Vite Top Coat | like Gel Overlays without UV | Review

I stumbled across this beauty of a product around a month ago while I was at the beautician getting my eyebrows done.
As the “pot” is ever so small (3.6ml) I thought it wouldn’t make any difference and would be like just any other top coat that doesn’t prevent my nails chipping. It cost me £2.50 which I didn’t mind if my beautician said it was the best ever, I couldn’t say no - easily persuaded to try a new brand.

The product dries and hardens the nail varnish that has already been applied through each layer giving it the professional finish that people want and lasting for a longer period of time without chipping. - The advice I got once I bought it was to apply it whilst your current layer of nail varnish is still wet.

I am absolutely blown away with the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, and I’m one of those people who needs to touch up their nails all the time due to them chipping after a day or two.
I can’t even rave about this top coat enough. I’m so so so impressed with it I recommend it to anyone and everyone. It feels like you’ve gone and had a gel overlay done and the quickness and how solid the polish looks and feels after is incredible. It doesn’t matter if your nails are weak, thin, oily, this top coat will make your “at home” manicure last up to a week, (depending on what you do day to day) without chipping and I couldn’t be happier with this product.

Their website doesn’t sell it directly however, typing it into google comes up with varied prices from:

and many others.

Let me know if you end up buying this incredible product and if your reaction and opinion is good, bad or the same as mine.

Enjoy me lovelies :)
Much Love

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year everyone, I hope everyone celebrated with friends, family and loved ones and not nursing too much of a hangover. I feel like I have been away from the blog for months yet it’s only been a few weeks. The Christmas build up was hectic for me at work and I was working, sleeping and eating my way through it. I hope you all enjoyed Christmas wherever you were and whoever you were with and filled your stomachs with all the Christmas food and had all the fun and laughs with loved ones.

But in a blink of an eye 2015 flew past and here it is, 2016. Christmas has come and gone and it’s the year of the Olympics in Rio, Euro 2016, and other annual sporting and non sporting events that occur. Believe it or not those were the only two that were off the top of my head.

Anyways, 2016.. As if another year is upon us - leaving us all wondering if it’s going to be our year. Well of course it is, it’s what you, yourself make it to be.

Making a bucket list is a good thing to start on the first day of the month. You’ve got all the positivity for the year ahead dreaming of what you want to happen over the next 12 months and aims you want to accomplish. You could make/start a lifetime bucket list that you continuously add to and one that has realistic aims and opportunities.

Which leads me on to New Years Resolutions - I never seem to make any as when I was younger I would make silly ones and forget about them after a week. Making around 5 realistic points to achieve over the next year and stick a copy on the fridge, your bedroom wall, and on your phone, encouraging you to achieve these goals and hopefully by the 31st December 2016 you will look at the list and have ticked off the achievements you first set out to do at the beginning of the year and feel good about yourself and are positively ready for the next 5 goals for the next year. Hopefully also having a lifetime bucket list the length of your arm and it continuing to get even longer.

I have a lot of positivity coming out of my fingertips onto the keyboard right now and I can’t wait to start my bucket list and write my New Years Resolutions, so i’m hoping this is encouraging you to do the same.

I have really slacked on the posts over the Christmas period so as of right now one of my New Years Resolutions is definitely produce more posts and good content on my blog.

Let me know some of the things you have on your bucket list and one of your New Years Resolutions.

Happy New Year everyone :)

Much Love

Christmas Party Outfit

Seeing as it's the time of year for Christmas cheer, I thought I should do my first official blog post about my Christmas party outfit I wore last weekend.

So a couple weeks ago I went into panic mode and spent too many days/evenings trailing through the internet, using all the websites you can think of, Asos, River Island, Topshop, New Look, Ark, Boohoo, Missguided, PrettyLittleThing you name it I searched it.

I didn’t want to spend too much money as it was for one night, and I thought I knew exactly what I wanted but no where had it. — A lovely skater skirt that stuck out with the tight fit top in black, just a cute little black number that I could dress up or down but what was in my mind but would not appear on the screen.

I finally found this lovely number in H&M.

Black and white with a spot of blue, it didn't look too pleasing on the hanger, however I proceeded to try it on and it looked SO much nicer than I thought it would. It sat in all the right places and hid everything I needed it to.

I'm not a huge fan of bodycon dresses as like most people, I am conscious of my very small "stomach pouch" that I think is ten times bigger than it is.

I knew the pattern would disguise it as I love the dress on and just didn’t want to continue searching with days counting down to the party. It’s definitely not something you need to stress over.

The shoes are also from H&M and are reasonably comfortable, I love that the pattern matched the pattern on the dress one of the reason why I knew I had to piece them together. Even though I was taller than I would like, I never get the chance to wear heels and not be self conscious. So I thought, fxck it. (Excuse all the marks on them).

The bag is from... what a surprise, H&M. Just a small black shoulder bag, which is my go to bag for nights out, meals, anything where i've got to dress up. It’s small and not too big and is most definitely a Mary Poppins bag, I even managed to fit my secret santa present in which was three bottles of shower gel..

As i’m writing this the following week after I can definitely say I made the right choice of clothing and footwear and bag. I threw on a fitted denim jacket to give it a me touch to it and off I went.
The entirety of the outfit was comfortable enough to dance, eat, drink and to pop to the toilet. However the shoes (as much as I love them) have completely ruined my feet as I’m still hurting and can’t feel a couple of my toes haha.

I had an amazing time even if I had a few too many and ended up being in town and home by 12.30am (very early!) But woke up Sunday morning feeling extremely sorry for myself throughout the day at work.

Hope you enjoyed the first post of many!

Much love,
